Level 1 officials: 5 years regular service.
Category B (Considered only if Category A is insufficient)
Level 1, 2, or 3 officials with 8 years total regular service (including GDS service).
Officials with GDS service prior to 17/06/2022: 5 years total service (including GDS).

Written Examination (LDCE): Scheduled for 20th July 2025; conducted as per updated pattern (Directorate letters 2018â2024). No local language paper.
Data Entry Skill Test (DEST): Qualifying in nature; held after the written exam.
