WBSSC Group_C and_D Recruitment :: The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) has announced a massive recruitment drive for 8,477 non-teaching staff vacancies in state-run and government-aided high/higher secondary schools across West Bengal. This recruitment is being conducted under the 1st State Level Selection Test (SLST) 2025 as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directive in Civil Appeal No. 4800 of 2024 dated April 3, 2025.
The vacancies include 2,989 posts for Group C (Clerk) and 5,488 posts for Group D such as Peons, Lab Attendants, and other support staff.
The online application process will begin on 16 September 2025 (from 5 PM) and remain open until 31 October 2025 (up to 5 PM). Candidates can pay their fees online till 11:59 PM on 31 October 2025.
